Ben Whitehouse, a BA (Hons) Film and Animation graduate from 2010, won the Royal Television Society Award for his stop motion animation ‘Till Death Do Us Part’.
In addition to achieving recognition from well-respected industry organisations, he was also the very first graduate from Birmingham City University to fully utilise the motion control camera MILO for his final year stop motion animation.
Ben (pictured above, first from the left) is now working as an Assistant Animator for Aardman Animations in the new stop motion feature film ‘Early Man’. Prior to this, he worked as a freelance character designer and illustrator for the Bright Agency, which produces children’s illustration. As a result of his professional development, he was also featured as one of the artists in the book ‘Masters of Anatomy’.
