Biography
Professor Steve Frosdick is a former police officer who has been Director of IWI Associates Ltd since 1996. He was a Founder Member of the UK Football Safety Officers’ Association and is a Faculty Member of both IAAM (the International Association of Assembly Managers) Europe and ESSMA (the European Stadium and Safety Management Association). He is also a Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.
Steve has been involved in academia since 1991 and has developed an international reputation in policing safety and security at sports grounds. He has two postgraduate degrees (MSc and PhD) in this field and has consulted for clients and taught at universities and conferences in the UK, US, Mauritius and throughout Europe. He has published four books and over 100 other papers.
Steve also works extensively in policing and criminal justice. During 2009, he co-hosted the Centre’s series of seminars for senior detectives and criminal justice professionals looking at lessons learned from four high profile murder investigations. His recent clients include the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit and three Local Criminal Justice Boards in Southern England.
