Placements

Placements are an important part of your experience if you’re a student training to be a teacher. You might feel excited but also wonder what it’s really like so you might be interested to hear from some of our students on a range of our initial teacher training courses who’ve shared their experience.

Interviews

So, you’ve completed your application form and received an email inviting you to book an interview. What’s next? We are planning a mixture of online and in person interviews, depending on which course you have applied for. Your invitation will make clear whether you are being invited to a virtual or in person interview. The booking process is the same for both online and on campus interviews.

Assessment only route

If you're already an experienced teacher with a degree but you don't have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), you may not have to do any further training. The Assessment Only (AO) route to QTS allows you to demonstrate that you already meet all the Teachers' Standards and can therefore be awarded QTS.

Career and Professional Development for Educators

We have many years of experience providing tailored continuing professional development (CPD) courses for schools in a range of curriculum subjects and wider aspects of teaching, learning, assessment and educational leadership. Let us work with you to help you to meet your organisation’s development priorities.
