There are many reasons why the School of Education attracts students from across the EU and further afield – from our world-class facilities and resources to innovative teaching and learning practices.

We are also recognised for our strong partnerships with schools, colleges and other educational establishments across the region, which means you will be well supported when undertaking teacher training placements.

Our reputation for providing superb teacher training is not confined to the UK as we have worked closely with the Egyptian government and a number of universities in China, delivering high quality teaching programmes.

We welcome applications from overseas students and have recently introduced a full-time MA in International Education.

The school delivers the Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes for international students whose first language is not English.

Our international office offers dedicated support to all overseas students, ensuring that your time here is fulfilling, successful and happy.
