Youth worker

As a youth worker, you would work productively in your local communities supporting and generating youth or, indeed, life-long learning projects. You may work with local schools, arts foundations or universities as part of their widening participation programmes.

Education advisor

Art galleries, museums and theatres often employ educational advisors/outreach workers. Graduates of this programme would be informed, articulate and confident and therefore ideal for these roles. The placement in the second year could also help you prepare for such a post.

Teacher

This course will leave you extremely well-placed to undertake a PGCE in Primary Education. A PGCE is a one-year course which provides you with the training and experience required to become a successful primary school teacher. We offer the course here at the University with specialisms available in Mathematics and Special Educational Needs.
