Started career in 1977 at Streetly High School teaching Biology and Chemistry at ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level. Moved to T.P.Riley Community School in 1980 managing Biology taking responsibility as Head of Sixth Form and Post 16 Co-Ordinator until 1990. Studied for a Diploma in Primary Education accepting a post as Science & Assessment Co-Ordinator at Little Bloxwich Primary School in 1991. Promotion to Deputy Headteacher until 1997 when I moved to work as an Advisory Teacher for Science and Assessment for Walsall LEA. Started then at Wolverhampton University in 1998 training teachers of science until moving to UCE/BCU in 2000 to continue my career in teacher training.
