Jimmy Fallon and Bill Nye writer joins student podcast

This week, the DMT Podcast hosts were joined by Mike Drucker, a comedy writer who has contributed to Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, The Golden Globes and Saturday Night Live. His most recent project was as head comedy writer for Netflix’s Bill Nye Saves The World.

During the show, Mike discussed the many projects he has been involved with, from the start of his career at New York University to his most recent projects. He also discussed how to break in to the media industry, his best tips for an internship and mental health within the media industries.

Mike’s appearance marked the 19th episode of the current season of the DMT Podcast. The DMT Podcast is a long running podcast series created, produced and hosted by Cameron McCulloch-Keeble (Student Success Advisor for the University’s Faculty of Computing Engineering and the Built Environment,) and Robert McLaughlin (Lecturer in the School of Computing and Digital Technology). The series is designed to promote networking amongst students and engage with industry professionals.
