The School of Digital Media Technology boasts one of the largest Interactive Media departments in the West Midlands, and we are committed to promoting the West Midlands screen- and sound-based media industry, and to increasing its capabilities.

Academies and accreditations
All courses within the School are accredited by the Institution of Engineering Technology and successful completion of these courses meets the educational requirements for IEng status.
Courses are designed and developed with key stakeholders and industry professionals, providing high-quality university education in technology-based disciplines.
We have a proven track record for successful delivery of contract research projects. We are able to access a variety of funding streams and support mechanisms in order to provide support for interested organisations. Support has involved a broad portfolio of technologies that has been flexibly delivered to suit your requirements.
Projects vary in length and can be as short as five days, providing both new and established organisations with an entry-level research solution that has regularly resulted in longer term follow-on projects and collaborative activities.
