Course Outline
Course Structure
The course provides a comprehensive review of the roles and responsibilities of an Information Technology Auditor. The course will be delivered as a series of lectures, many followed by open discussion forums or workshops to enable candidates to share their knowledge and experience. There will also be an opportunity to attempt selected CISA examination questions. Finally there will be an overview of the examination process.
The University is easily accessible by car/bus/train/taxi from Birmingham City Centre. Accommodation is not included. However, there is a small local hotel delegates could use which is a 5-10 minute walk from the University. The hotel is called The Park Hotel and can be contacted on 0121 356 0707. Refreshments are included throughout the day but lunch is not provided. There are two canteens/cafes on site and the local shopping centre is a 5 minute walk.
Modules
The Review will provide instruction for the CISA exam format that consists of the six content areas:
- IS Audit Process - 10%
- IT Governance - 15%
- Lifecycle - 16%
- IT Service Delivery and Support - 14%
- Protection of Information Assets - 31%
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery - 14%

In the preparation for the CISA Examination, we recommend that each participant purchase the following ISACA study materials directly from the ISACA bookstore:

Further Information
