Open Days and Consultation Lessons
Both Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the University hold regular Open Days. Conservatoire Open Days are held twice a year, in January and June. These are designed to give you a real insight into student life and involve introductory talks, guided tours, open rehearsals, performances and chances to meet staff and students.
If you'd like to have a look at accommodation during your visit, there will be tours running at regular intervals during the day to view an example of the student accommodation the University has to offer.
What if I can't attend an Open Day?
If you can't attend one of our scheduled Open Days, you are welcome to visit us at any time of the year. Although you may not be able to see everything you would on an Open Day, we will try to make your visit as full as possible and to introduce you to key members of staff in your specialist area.
25 January 2018
Our next Conservatoire Open Day (for music only) will be on 25 January 2018, 10-4pm. Come to our brand new building to have a look around our impressive facilities and find out more about what we have to offer.

Please be aware that during the summer of 2017, ad hoc visits to the conservatoire will not be possible as we will be preparing to move into our new building. Once we have moved in September, we will try to accommodate individual visits outside of open days if possible, but the availability of these opportunities to visit will be more limited than normal.
