Jeremy Price trombones - slide and valves
Andy Panayi tenor sax, clarinet and flute
Jez Franks guitar

A new trio led by Jeremy Price created to pay homage to one of the great legendary trios, Bob Brookmeyer/Jimmy Giuffre/Jim Hall who were noted for their The Train and the River piece in the film of the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival, Jazz on a Summer's Day. Hence the name of the band and the playlist they will perform at this gig.

Jeremy Price plays slide and valve trombone and is joined by colleagues Andy Panayi on tenor sax, flute and clarinet and Jez Franks on guitar. Material will include transcriptions from Giuffre albums Trav’lin’ Light and Western Suite as well as compositions by Stan Sulzmann and Mike Gibbs.
