Interiors & Lifestyle Futures

Interiors & Lifestyle Futures helps West Midlands businesses to penetrate or expand high-value interiors and lifestyle markets and to build strong connections with eachother. The programme is promoted and delivered by Design Knowledge Network, which has been providing specialist consultancy and research to companies for eight years from its base at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design.

The team combines expertise in design strategy and management, marketing and communications and is working with the JewelleryIndustry Innovation Centre and the Ceramic Industry Forumin supporting interiors and lifestyle companies. Assistance includes:

  • business improvement workshops
  • facilitation of profitable partnerships between companies
  • the provision of technology knowledge collaborations
  • marketing, branding and product innovation seminars
  • networking events

People planning to set new businesses are also supported through the ILF Venture programme, which provides an intensive six months of mentoring as well as a funding award.

Interiors & Lifestyle Futures is already involved with over 150 companies and is always looking to work with more businesses.

Interiors & Lifestyle Futures is funded by Advantage West Midlands and the European Regional Development Fund, which means help is free to qualifying companies.
