    Inge Hill has a wide ranging career in government and government agencies, Third Sector organisations, the private sector, running her own consultancy business and working in Higher Education. Inge's focus in her teaching is on sharing her insight into applying strategic thinking to business practice.

  • Dr Andy Hollyhead

    Associate Professor

    Andy Hollyhead joined the University in 2003 after 15 years in industry in a number of large organisations, including roles as business systems analyst and project manager. He  is part of  the Centre for Internal Audit, Governance and Risk Management.

  • Rachel Homer

    Senior Lecturer

    Rachel Homer came to the Business School after a successful career in industry with Cadbury Schweppes, with whom she qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant while working in the areas of Internal Audit, Management Accounting and IT Project Management.

  • Dr Juanling Huang

    Senior Lecturer in Business Logistics

    Dr Juanling Huang has industrial experience in logistics and international freight forwarding companies in the UK, Hong Kong and China. Her research areas include implementation of strategy, innovation and change; implementation of ERP systems in SMEs; and customer relationship management in HEIs and business communities.

  • Mark Hunt

    Senior teaching fellow

    Mark Hunt worked in the accountancy profession in Birmingham city centre for over 25 years, specialising in all areas of taxation before moving into a teaching role.

  • Monina Hurl

    Senior Teaching Fellow

    Monina has over 20 years’ experience in teaching both under graduate and post graduate courses, including for the professional Accountancy bodies ACA, ACCA and CIMA.

  • Dr Xiehua Ji

    Lecturer in Financial Services

    Xiehua Ji joined Birmingham City Business School in April 2017 as a Lecturer in Financial Services after completing his PhD and MSc at Durham University. Prior to his teaching experience and consultation experience at Durham University, he had industry experience in a commercial bank.

    In industry Clare Jones was an HR practitioner in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Finance sectors, before moving into Higher Education. She held senior positions at a variety of Universities before joining the Birmingham City Business School in 2008.

    Matt Jones is a Senior Lecturer at Birmingham City Business School. Matt teaches on a number of degree courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and is also the Course Director for BA (Hons) Management and Leadership Top-up.
