Your Applicant Visit Day will run as follows:

Time Activity
1.00 – 1.30pm Visitor registration and light refreshments (Coffee/Tea/Water)*
Upon arrival, please look out for signage pointing you to Edge 320 for registration. IMPORTANT NOTE: if attending on 15th February or 4th April, please report to Kenrick Lecture Theatre. If attending on 25th April, please report to Galton 420. For all other dates, please report to Edge 320. Don’t worry, our Student Ambassadors wearing yellow tops will be on hand and they will be happy to direct you to all these locations.
1.30 – 1.45pm Welcome to Birmingham City University and the Business School
This session provides an overview of Birmingham City University and the Business School outlining the opportunities available to our students.
1.45 – 2.15pm Developing a Successful Career in Business – “Lessons from The Board”
Prof Chris Edger or Prof Paul Turner
This session will be led by one of our Professors in Management Practice providing you with a unique opportunity to discuss their experiences and what companies are looking for in their recruitment of ‘fast-track’ business graduates.
2.15 – 3.15pm Applicant Discussions with Course Leader and Students
This session will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about your chosen course and to meet your Course Leader and students studying on the course that you have applied for. The session is designed to be interactive to address any questions you may have about the course or the Business School.
3.15 – 4.00pm Tour of the Campus and Business School led by our Students
Visitors will be divided into subject area tours. These tours will give you an opportunity to interact with current students and to discover the resources available at the University and in the Business School.
4.00pm End of Applicant Visit Day

* A wide-selection of lunch options are available for purchase from Baker Café in Baker Building. Alternatively you can bring your own lunch with you.
