Doug Ellis Sports Centre
The multi-million pound Doug Ellis Sports Centre in Perry Barr is situated on the former Ansells Sports Club site off Wellhead Lane. The state-of-the-art facility offers an 80-station fitness suite equipped with cutting edge equipment, dance and aerobic studios and a sports hall large enough to accommodate eight badminton courts, with a full-sized all-weather pitch due to be completed this year offering additional sporting facilities.
The Sports Centre is open seven days a week, with a range of membership options available. Birmingham City University alumni are entitled to discounted rates, which can be obtained by presenting a copy of your degree certificate or transcript and photo ID when registering. Conference and Sporting Facilities
Just minutes from the City Centre, The Pavilion provides the local community, businesses and sports teams with a unique environment for corporate and social events.

Library and Learning Resources
Birmingham City University Library and Learning Resources offers former students who have successfully completed their course a discounted rate to its External Borrower Scheme.
Graduates who completed their studies with the University after December 2010 can continue to access some services on the University system for 18 months after the completion of their course. The systems accessible are:
- Document Management Repository (SharePoint)
- Technology Enhanced Learning Resources such as Moodle and Mahara
No other systems or resources will be accessible. This includes access to open access facilities on site or access to the wireless network. By accessing the network, alumni agree that they have read and understood the Code of Conduct and agree to adhere to this and all Corporate ICT policies.
University Email Account
Graduates who completed from 2011 onwards can continue to access their university email account at http://365.bcu.ac.uk. Should you have any issues with logging onto the account, please contact the BCU IT Help Desk on +44 (0)121 331 6543. For any other queries please contact Microsoft directly. Unfortunately we cannot offer university email accounts to alumni who completed prior to 2011.
