All of our talks are tailored to your particular needs and we can organise subject related talks and taster sessions that are linked to individual University departments (subject to availability of academic staff).

This presentation is ideal for all ages - Year 9 through to Year 13, parents and mature students.
Planning for Higher Education (choosing courses and universities)
This presentation is aimed at mid- to late Year 12 pupils, early Year 13 pupils and mature students, and aims to introduce them to the prospect of Higher Education with information on how to choose a course and university with practical hints and tips.
Student Life
A light-hearted look at all aspects of student life. Many prospective students have unrealistic views of what student life is really like. Is it all lectures and essays or do students spend most of their day sleeping and eating beans? This talk emphasises the importance of balancing study and social life and also offers information on the support that is available to students at the University.
The UCAS application process and personal statements
This presentation is aimed at Year 12 students once they have finished their AS exams and for returning Year 13 students. It is a comprehensive guide to filling in the UCAS form and advice about the application process. It focuses on the personal statement and what admissions tutors are looking for.
UCAS deadlines and Interview techniques
This presentation is aimed at Year 13 students in the midst or at the end of their UCAS application process. It focuses on the upcoming UCAS deadlines and what to expect covering UCAS Extra, Adjustment and Clearing. After a look at the deadlines we discuss university interview techniques.
