Our City South Campus is home to our Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences. It houses up-to-date, innovative facilities that simulate the real situations medical staff may come across. These resources give students a valuable hands-on introduction to health and social care practice.

In a sector where new techniques are constantly being discovered, we work hard to ensure that students learn using the most up-to-date equipment available. These facilities include:

  • The Mary Seacole Library - one of the UK's largest health education libraries
  • Biomedical Sciences labs
  • Skills Practice and Care Enhancement – SPACE – a room resourced with equipment and a technician, to allow students to practise their clinical skills in a supportive environment
  • Teacher training spaces
  • Operating department suite
  • Telehealth suite
  • Anatomage tables
  • Microbiology laboratory
  • Home environment room
  • Mock wards
  • Birthing room
  • IT suite
  • Food and drink facilities
  • Careers+, Graduate+ and Students' Union offices where students can seek advice and guidance
