The University prides itself on an inclusive and dynamic working environment, where we work hard to develop our staff. Since changing our name to Birmingham City University in 2007 we have made giants strides forward in the quality and range of our education provision, and we see our staff as vital to that improvement. This commitment has been reflected in increased investment in staff development.
Investing in our people
The University is committed to achieving Investors in People (IIP) in all its faculties and professional service departments and has already achieved this in many areas.
Our Human Resources Department has achieved the highest level of the IiP standard - Gold - placing them in the top one per cent of all IiP accredited organisations across the UK.
