HEA Students as Partners

Students as Partners is a new change programme from the HEA run in partnership with Birmingham City University and informed by its Student Academic Partners initiative. The programme will help HEIs develop their capacity to involve students in institutional change more rigorously, across areas including:

  • curriculum design
  • quality assurance and enhancement
  • student participation in institutional decision making
  • student transition, progression and achievement.

Ten universities have been awarded project status - the Universities of Ulster, Kingston, Sheffield Hallam, Manchester Metropolitan, Oxford, Liverpool John Moores, Swansea, Newport, Birmingham City and Newman University College.
